TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN The Medicinal Chemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society (DCF-SCI) organizes the XXVII National Meeting in Medicinal Chemistry (NMMC27) joint with the 14th Young Medicinal Chemists Symposium - "Nuove Prospettive in Chimica Farmaceutica" (NPCF14), that will be held in September 11-14, 2022, in Bari (Italy), a beautiful seaside town, rich in churches, palaces and piazzas, theatres and restaurants, with a special charm throughout the year.

NMMC27/NPCF14 symposium will give us the opportunity to share views about the challenges and hot topics in medicinal chemistry. After two years of virtual meetings, the 2022 edition of the meeting will be a presential event, although restricted to fully vaccinated individuals. The meeting will cover advances in drug discovery in major therapeutic areas, including the treatment of bacterial and viral infections, with a particular on the emerging COVID-19 pandemics, but also neurologic and cardiovascular diseases, rare diseases, and cancer. More importantly, participants will have the chance to establish and strengthen collaborative networks between academic and industrial groups, which remains a key option for successful research projects.

More than 300 delegates from academia and industry are expected. Upon application, twenty (or more) grants for young people, covering full registration fees and suitable accommodations, will be provided by DCF- SCI and other Institutional Sponsors.

The scientific programme will include:

  ● five plenary lectures of eminent international scientists
  ● five parallel sessions with ten keynotes, fifty oral/flash communications
  ● two poster sessions
  ● exhibition by companies working in the field

The sponsor can offer the participants a coffee break at a price of 1200 €. Coffee Breaks will be served in the morning and the afternoon sessions from Monday 11th to Wednesday 14th according to the Scientific Program. The sponsor will have the possibility of distributing the company’s brochures, installing one company roll-up banner, and the company logo on the conference website.

The sponsor can offer the participants a light lunch at a price of 3000 €. Light lunches will be served on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th. The sponsor will have the possibility of distributing the company’s brochures, installing one company roll-up banner, and the company logo on the conference website. In addition, the sponsor will be granted with No. 1 registration and badge for one staff member (inclusive of access to all scientific sessions, opening ceremony, welcome cocktail, coffee breaks, light lunches, and social dinner).

The sponsor can support the Welcome Cocktail (Sunday 11th) with 5000 €. The Welcome Cocktail will be at the “Fortino Borbonico S. Antonio”. The sponsor will have the possibility of distributing the company’s brochures, installing one company roll-up banner, and the company logo on the conference website. In addition, the sponsor will be granted with No. 2 registrations and badges for two staff members (inclusive of access to all scientific sessions, opening ceremony, welcome cocktail, coffee breaks, light lunches, and social dinner).

The sponsor can contribute to the cost of bags, folders, pen drives, and printing, etc., for up to 1000 €. In this case, the sponsor will have the company logo on the conference website.

The form must be filled in, signed and sent by March 31, 2022, at the very latest and returned to the organizers. After this date neither an exhibition space nor publication in the NMMC XXVII/NPCF14 advertisement tools (website, programme, abstract book, etc.) will be guaranteed. The application form should be signed and returned with a 50% deposit payment to the organizers.

PACKAGE COMPANY Bank charges are the responsibility of the payee.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation refunds of the 50% deposit will be possible until April 30th, 2022. After April 30th, 2022 and until May 30th, 2022 only a refund of the 50% on the 50% deposit (25% on total sponsorship amount) will be possible. After May 31st, 2022 no refund will be possible. Cancellation must be sent by e-mail to Italiana Congressi e Formazione. E-mail date will be considered as cancellation date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS The terms and conditions of sponsorship and exhibiting are defined in the “GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS” paragraph of the Sponsorship documentation.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS Allocation of exhibition space
Space allocation will be made according to the desired sponsorship package. A completed application form should be sent by e-mail/fax to ensure reservation of the desired location. Upon receipt of the application form, space will be confirmed. Space allocations will be made in the order in which application forms are received. Spaces will be assigned definitively when 50% confirmation deposit will be paid.

Site inspections Exhibitors and sponsors may visit the conference venue only by appointment. Please contact the Italiana Congressi e formazione srl agency to arrange it.

Liability for theft & damage For the entire Exhibition period, Exhibitors are directly responsible for supervising both their booths and their staff. The Organizers will not be liable for any theft or damage with regard to goods or materials on display in the exhibit space or otherwise present in the Exhibition area. Care and surveillance of the exhibit space are the responsibility of their respective Exhibitors during the hours in which the Exhibition is open, both for the Exhibition itself and for the setting up and dismantling of the booths. Exhibitors will be held personally responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused for whatever reason by themselves or by any member of their staff. The Exhibitor is expected to have appropriated insurance policy covered by his own insurance company.

Quality of materials, electrical appliances and fire prevention Exhibitors are obliged to use materials and electrical appliances quality and characteristics that meet existing CEI Rules. Each exhibitor shall be directly responsible for the observation of the fire prevention regulation.
